Sari Dangler, MS, LPC, LSSP, Owner and Founder |
Positive Path PLLC was established to provide you with comprehensive care, and the best possibilities to find the ideal match for your needs! I started my journey in counseling in 2008 when I completed my year-long internship . Later, I worked for several years at the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center, providing counseling services and completing court-ordered psychological assessments. Since then, I have worked in private practice since 2012 and as a school psychologist in area schools for the past 13 years. During this time, I have connected with culturally diverse people from different ethnic backgrounds in individual, group, family, and couples/marriage counseling and have completed hundreds of Diagnostic Psychological Assessments. In counseling, I enjoy working together with children as young as 5 years old, teenagers, adults, and families. I love working with different people of different ages, who have different approaches to life, and I always learn something from each one of you. I moved to Texas from Finland in 1999, and my native language is Finnish. Since I moved here and uprooted myself from what I had called home for a long time, I have gained new experiences and relationships, had many moments of happiness and joy, earned several degrees at school, and had many jobs but have also experienced personal struggles such as divorce, single parenthood, losses, and blending families. However, everything I have experienced has helped me grow both personally and professionally. I now live with my husband, one of our four children, and two dogs in our home in Frisco.
