Do you shop at 1 store or do you hunt down the best deals and go

funacct: I am a deal shopper. I will go across town for an exceptional deal but now it has to be really good to use the gas!

Tamara: I feel lucky that I have 6 different places in less then 5 miles to shop at.

funacct: I am so glad Walmart has dropped the pot a 12 plck of sodas because I drink some and refuse to pay $12 a twelve pack and really rather not buy three to get three free so that makes a big difference and when Trader Joe's moves in I am pretty well set on my favorites

funacct : I'll go to multiple stores - within reason. Won't drive to 3+ stores - the time it takes is definitely worth more than the money I'd save.

Tamara: my hubby is a Diet Coke addict. The only good thing is he drinks caffeine free. We take advantage of the but 3 get 3 like crazy.

ChrisR: agree. Sometimes time is worth a lot. But I will drive to Costco to save 0.20 a gallon. That adds up fast!

It really depends on how strapped I am for time or how quickly I need something- I do a lot of online shopping so it is easy to price compare

Stellenator: online like Amazon of online ordering and then pickup? I really like ordering on line then pickup. I tend to only get what I need and no impulse buying

funacct : I do a lot of amazon, walmart and Sam's order and have it delivered. I also have shipt still - never gave it up after Covid because I'm still working and it is nice to just get the groceries I want delivered - I still go to the grocery store too of course - but I agree really saves money with no impulse buys - or at least fewer!

Stellenator: what is shipt?

funacct: it is a grocery shopping app that we have been using since Covid times and love

Stellenator: kind of like Shopify?

funacct: maybe I am not family with Shopify
