funacct: I am still deciding. I've been enjoying all the AI versions of Big Tex's outfits. I even saw one he was in a thong or something showing his abs. Tickled me then I got embarrassed for him!!!

I go about once every 20 years. Should be ready in another 10 or so.

As kids we were so excited go to local fairs and had such fun. I enjoyed the simple rides like roller coaster and Ferris wheel, and special hot pretzels and desserts, music and displays.

Pecan7: I love seeing the exhibits and seeing all of the things people entered and won a prize! In fact I think it would be cool to see all of the crafts etc people enter before judging!!

Waiting for them to lower the admission and parking to a few dollars. And not to charge the food vendors an arm and a leg to rent a booth and still had to pay a cut of the revenue.

Pecan7: I'm with you on the food. Seems like the only place to get good bad food.

KiNg: I don't like that you have to buy tickets for food and games. Then your stuck with what you don't spend

It's a state fair. Shouldn't be turned into a huge profit event. Let the farmers, ranchers, restaurants and businesses show their products.
