Pretty contentious…any predictions? I just get the feeling once it's down to two, more people who voted for other candidates are more likely to go for Hill. Frisco has a surprisingly vicious political scene for a small town! ; )

@Jjj: sadly I was team Sowell. She was close to being in the run off. Honestly I have no clue who to vote for now.

I'm not Muslim, but 1/4th of my extended family is, so, Vilhauer's quote on the Nick's Right podcast scares me: "You can't tell me that Islam is a religion. It's a terrorist group…" It's a profoundly dumb statement to generalize like that, or it's simply racist…I don't see how it could be any other option, and both seem really bad for a city's leader.

I'm a Christian and believe the Muslim is a religion. That being said, I know that there is big controversy out there with the Indian growth and it is now becoming part of the political race. I'll be honest and admit I do not know all the information in this issue. I do know what I see with my own eyes and try to stay open minded. Now to the Mayor race, I wish both candidates would just say what they are going to do for the citizens, their view in the future and growth of Frisco.

I try to think how I would feel on the other side, in that situation. If someone said, and genuinely believed, "You can't tell me that Christianity is a religion. It's a terrorist group…" ...then there's no way I would vote for that person, regardless of what they claim they're going to do for the town and its citizens...it's just too toxic to publicly talk like that as a leader of a community.

I am voting against the wagon of scoundrels who stood idled and allowed this mess. Cheney's poor planning decreased my uncles business downtown by 40% . I hate that guy!
