Big Bear Lake California in the Autumn and stay for a little while until after a big snow. Take the lift up and down the. Mountain to the ski drop. Visit the nearby hills and go tubing down the snow. Have an Irish coffee by the fire with family and friends, listening to good music like Kenny G, Jim Brickman, Dave Koz. Build a snowman. Decorate a Christmas tree with ,local flora. Sing Christmas carols.

@Pecan7: Snow Summit was my place in the winter. Lived 30 min at the bottom of the mountain. And yes beautiful in the fall.
