Vet Med program at Frisco ISD - This is a pretty cool program!Details from a parent:"If your student is considering going into veterinary medicine, I highly recommend the program at the CTE center through Frisco ISD. My son started taking classes in 9th grade for agriculture and has taken at least 1 vet med class every year (usually 2-3). This year he is doing the Practicum in Vet Med and completed his first dental this week. He did everything: anesthesia, intubation, polishing and anesthesia reversal (all under the supervision of a DVM and LVT). Frisco ISD provides these students such a wonderful opportunity to pursue their passions while gaining hands-on experience. The teachers are amazing and he feels very prepared for his next steps in University."
