Serial Frisco Stalker Sentenced to 20 Years In Prison

Robert Bevers, 40, of Frisco, will spend the next 20 years in prison for stalking a woman he had never met, and evidence showed she wasn't his only victim.
It began in 2022, when a 27-year-old Frisco woman started finding strange, unsolicited gifts on her doorstep. Surveillance cameras soon revealed a man circling her home again and again. Despite a protective order, Bevers resumed contact in 2024, sending disturbing, sexual, and racist messages through fake accounts.
Detective Brenna Bearden led a deep investigation, uncovering that Bevers had been targeting women using aliases and social media to harass victims dating back to 2016.
At trial, jurors heard from four additional women who described eerily similar stalking campaigns, from former classmates to a defense attorney.
Judge Kim Laseter delivered the maximum 20-year sentence and a $10,000 fine, calling Bevers a serial predator who had already served prison time for violence in the past.
