A new restaurant, Chubby Skewers, is planned for Frisco, bringing a menu focused on grilled skewers and street-style dishes to the area. The concept is known for its variety of skewered meats, seafood, and vegetables, typically prepared over open-flame grills.

The restaurant will be located at 9180 Warren Parkway, Suite 170, where a 4,000-square-foot space is set to be transformed into a new spot for skewers and casual dining.

Construction is scheduled to begin on May 31, 2026, with completion expected by August 31, 2026. The project is privately funded and will add another dining option in the growing Frisco restaurant scene.

Right next door is Gao's BBQ that also offers BBQ skewers. 2 restaurants offering similar cuisine practically next to each other will be fighting for the same customers. But what do I know I never owned a business or a restaurant.

@KiNg: just like Dunkin and Shiply's. Or Starbucks and Dutch Bros. Right next door. Don't get it.
