@Stellenator: they have had an airport for a long time. This, having airline flights, was being fought by some because of the flight plan going over residential areas.

@Jjj: Vegas, Florida and a few other places. I'm love it's so close. They are expanding and seems to be similar to Love Field airport.

Shorter drive to get to the airport, easier parking, smaller airport = faster check in times...should be a much nicer experience for those destinations on the list.

Avelo Airlines is going to start flying out of McKinney Airport in November this year.

Might be able to get a $99 ticket to Las Vegas.
