The City of Frisco City Council has unanimously voted to build a skate park in the new Northeast Community Park.
From the City's press release:
"The skate park will be a focal point within the new Northeast Community Park, located near the intersections of Coit Road and Panther Creek Parkway. The 75-acre park is currently in the master plan process. For more information, please contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 972-292-6500."
Dudley Raymond, Frisco parks planning and business development manager, had said in September 2014 that the skate park should be finished in about 30 months (~ Spring 2017).
